Look at Bridgewater through the eyes of Minnesota, not New Orleans... He won't have the weapons (arguably) or the coaching (no-arguement) that he had in a few games at New Orleans. Look at Minnesota where he was loved before he got hurt, old history. Or his current winning every game he played in 2019 ? I'll take the current. That's what's up.

Thats why I said arguably, I'll go on record right now saying Bridgewater is not the answer. How about Tannihill? Not that he is available, but if he was. In Miami...Meh In Tenn... Good Now that is a mystery to me... Is Mariota really that bad?? Or is Tannehill really that good? I'm just not sold on Bridgewater...

disagree. There are weapons. Ekler, HH, KA, Williams. Jackson and Newsome can catch There is talent there Thats why I said arguably, I'll go on record right now saying Bridgewater is not the answer. You may be right, or you may be wrong. You mentioned he wasn't as good at Minn. but he wasn't too bad either - 65% completion isn't too bad. Consider that he was thrown into the fire as a rookie.
He can run, that would please AL . Like you, I wouldn't bet the farm on him but I feel that same way about all the QB's available in the draft except for Burrows.. Tua is an obvious injury concern and he's best of the rest. I guess it's a case of "you buys your tickets and you takes your chances".
As I think more and more about this I begin to think maybe the best bet is the guy we already have under contract - Tyrod. He does have experience as a starter and he does know the system. That's puts him ahead of pretty much all the others. Tough decision - good luck TT!

We are prob the only 2 guys on this forum that feel that way about Taylor... I don't think he would be any better or worse than Bridgewater. Here is my take: 1. Burrow 2. Tua (if docs say he can play then so be it...) 3. Fromm (2nd round) 4. Brady 5. Newton 6. Taylor/Stick 7. Bridgewater (will be more expensive than Taylor/Stick) 8. Herbert 9. Mariota 10. Anybody else...

He absolutely, 100%, Triple Guaranteed, is nobody's Plan A to launch our 16-20 game season in 2020. That's just period guys. Sorry. I happen to like him. I don't like him over a full season of starting. TT is forced to make a move, and that won't be it.

I could see them trying for Bridgewater, and if they got him on a decent 2-3 year deal, cutting Tyrod to move forward with Stick and a draft pick as backups.

The post you quoted is far from a ringing endorsement of drafting Herbert, in fact my post pretty much says 'pass' on drafting him. Don't let any of that stop your snide comments.....I enjoy experiencing the fan mentality. You've been pimping Hebert and dissing Tua for months now. I get the injury concerns around Tua but seriously? I bet you were a Sam Donald man a couple of years ago. I am on record that he would suck. I have not been doing any such thing. I have said that I like Herbert over Tua, making my QB ranking look like Burrow, Herbert, Tua...... Truth be told, and it was in my last post on this, I would not draft a QB @#6.

I prefer rolling with Tyrod over both signing Bridgewater to a lucrative contract and spending Pick 6 on Herbert. I would dampen my britches with joy and peepee for Tua, though I might be able to contain myself pending any trade details. If TT must do something else, sign Rivers and give the poor immobile bastard an offensive line. I know that’s asking the impossible.

If they simply keep Tyrod you pretty much bet they'll take a QB with the 6th pick. If they add Bridgewater or some other FA, they may go bpa with it. What ever they do I believe a lot of the guys that have been hating PR this season will end up wishing they had him back. He's still better than any of these QB's we've been discussing.
