This is why we can't have nice things. We have something just as nice (and maybe even better) for 1/3 of the price. This money will go a long way to sign Hunter Henry and extend Bosa. Teddy just isn't worth the money he is going to get. I like Bridgewater and would be happy with him as the Chargers QB, but not with the kind of contract he will command after that 5-0 stretch last year. He is going to be overpaid. Riddle me this Batman. Bridgewater is YEARNED for on teams in the NFL. Tyrod had to get a gig as Back Up Billy for Spanos. Why is that ?

Bridgewater got 15 million.
Taylor does 5 million.
The NFL must be stupid. Triple pay for "equal" players. Equal............uh huh.
Don't think so.
REACT BEFORE I TELL YOU TYROD HAS LOW DEAD CAP SPACE AND I WOULD CUT HIS ASS NEXT !!!!!!!!!

REACT BEFORE I TELL YOU TYROD HAS LOW DEAD CAP SPACE AND I WOULD CUT HIS ASS NEXT !!!!!!!!! Here is the reaction, the NFL is often stupid: Ex-Eagles QB Nick Foles Agrees to 4-Year, $88 Million Contract with Jaguars. In March 2016, the Houston Texans signed Brock Osweiler to a four-year, $72 million contract ($37 million guaranteed) On March 9, 2017, Glennon signed a three-year, $45 million contract with the Chicago Bears. In March 2013, Joe Flacco signed a six-year, $120.6 million contract with the Baltimore Ravens. P.S. " Bridgewater and the Saints settled on a one-year, fully-guaranteed $7.25 million contract extension to keep him in town. Incentives within the contract could raise its maximum value to $12.5 million." P.P.S. "Could Teddy Bridgewater command $30 million per year in free agency?" saintswire.usatoday.com/2020/02/17/saints-teddy-bridgewater-contract-free-agency-options/

This is the same league that QB's like Foles keep bouncing around, and QB's named McCown keep getting jobs.

Eric Fisher.....or Tevi, Pipkins, Scott...... Do not bring up Okung, our future IR LOT. If they’re going to make a play for OL free agents, probably at a very real expense, it would be nice if they grabbed an actual top-tier anchor. Since basically everyone and most cheerleaders are better than the Chargers’ current OL players, I don’t think “or Tevi, Pipkins, Scott” is a fair or accurate analysis.

My point was exactly as yours, the Bolts OL is horrible, and even Eric Fisher would be an upgrade. TT should go get Conklin, Thuney and Scherff.......be a decent start to fixing this OL.
