Burrow, Young, then most likely Okudah....but maybe Simmons, whichever is the one not picked will fall to at least 6th, and I would take either before a risky QB pick. I think the cost will keep trades from happening, Miami might get nervous, but they stay at 5th and get Tua. My guess at least..... Good as guess as any. Its all starting to spin around now. The positive marketing has been relentless.....can't wait for about a week before the draft to see the negative marketing start tearing these guys down, talk about getting dizzy......

Not the way I hope the draft goes, but this is what I can see happening: 1. BENGALS - Joe Burrow 2. REDSKINS - Chase Young 3. trade up MIAMI - Tua Tagovailoa 4. GIANTS - Mekhi Becton 5. trade down LIONS - Isaiah Simmons 6. CHARGERS - Justin Herbert 7. PANTHERS - Jeff Okudah 8. CARDINALS - Jedrick Wills Jr. 9. JACKSONVILLE - Derrick Brown 10. CLEVELAND - Tristan Wirfs Redskins are going to want way too much in a trade. Miami has enough draft capital to still have a great draft and shouldn't risk losing TUA to Chargers or another team willing to jump them. I wish Simmons was still on the board and the Lions picked Okudah, but I think when the dust settles the Chargers will (sadly) take a QB even if Simmons is still on the board. Perhaps TT can surprise us all.

I am looking forward to the teams that want someone then leak bad press so the player falls to them. Good stuff there.

TT trades with the Lions because TT is afraid the Lions are talking with some other club interested in Herbert...Lions laugh, take that extra pick from TT thinking they will hear Herbert's name....TT takes Simmons....... Lions trade down twice in this scenario.....just clarifying.

Perhaps TT can surprise us all. I think that they already have a deal in place with Cam Newton and are waiting until after the draft so they don’t nuke the value of their pick. I will predict that your mock of the first ten picks is 20% accurate.

I agree, draft the Best Player Available. Think of the 1998 & 2009 QB classes, only 1 good QB out of each, Manning & Stafford. Once Burrow is gone the rest could be the 98 QB's of Leaf, Batch, Griese or 09 of Sanchez, Freeman.
Cannot pass is Young, Simmons or Okudah are available as non-QB's aren't nearly the flop factor of QB's flop factor, not worth setting back the organization for years in my opinion.

I've posted the same thing, BleuMoon, that Okudah is probably better than Simmons- but mostly because a CB is a more premium position than a LB. If they were both available when the Chargers pick, I'd have a tough time choosing between the two but I'm leaning towards Simmons because we signed Harris in free agency and Simmons' versatility along with Derwin James would wreak havoc on offenses.

That is the thing, Simmons can play CB......and no not at the level of Okudah.......but Okudah cannot play LB at all. Simmons would be the better pick, but there is no fail in either player.

Cheers Ohio! Like minds. I'm taking Simmons over Okudah based on our FA moves, but I feel both will end up being very good players regardless.

You beat me to the punch. Versatility is a plus. I like the idea of seeing Simmons, Ingram & Derwin all posted up near the line of scrimmage. Their collective athleticism in theory would allow unique interchangeable chess moves. Overload Bosa's side and forgetaboutit. Each fast enough to blitz or drop back in coverage, each big enough to cover TEs or blast a RB in the hole. Guess who's coming to dinner...
