It’s reasonable. The Chargers are weakest and have the least invested in LB, that’s our greatest position of need. At OT we have Bulaga for 2 years and invested a 3rd in Pipkins knowing he needed a lot of development. At DT we have Joseph for 2 years and invested a 1st in Tillery on the other side. At QB we have Taylor who has a few solid years under his belt as a starter while providing the ball security and mobility that Lynn covets. At LB we have Perryman for a year and Tranquil. In order of need I’d say it’s LB, OT, QB, DT. In order of positional value I’d say it’s QB, OT, LB/DT. So we’re not going DT at 6, the rest just comes down to what happens before we pick and simple player evaluation. I’ll bet the front office is hoping either Tua or Simmons are available at 6. The consolation prize is gonna be an OT. There’s a small chance TT and crew have a guy rated higher than everyone else and take him based on talent, or we get a great offer to trade down, but nothing else makes sense. I love Tua but I think my favorite scenario is Simmons at 6 and Cam after the draft. Edit: forgot CB. It’s a weird situation with Harris and Casey both getting long in the tooth. They’re both savvy enough to be great players for several more years but it’s a concern. King and Harris are both more effective on the inside. Davis is just ok, but he is young and cheap. There’s an opening here for Okudah despite the plethora of talent. I would not be surprised to see a WR or RB drafted on day two. There are WR's raining out of the freaking sky this year. You could go Billy Blue Chip RB in the 2nd, and WR early third.

Tua is off my board, too many concerns. Simmons would be a run to the podium moment, but I just do not see him dropping to 6th. A surprise player that the Bolts have rated very high....perhaps, but it is based on evaluations. Okudah, if drafted, would be the best CB on the team.....instantly. Bolts would be very solid in the CB area...... That’s silly. If Okudah is already better than Hayward, Harris, and King he’s about 3 leagues above Simmons and everyone else in the draft. I just like how this was laid down. I want to agree with this one before I nominate it, let me look again........................... Nominated POTD

I have Okaduh rated higher than Simmons....he is that good. He will go 3rd...... It’s still completely outlandish to say that any rookie is better than one of the league’s best before the draft has even happened. Damn it !!!!!!!! I nominated the previous post before I saw this, and its even better !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saying it might be outlandish, but that doesn't diminish the truthfulness of the statement.

I think the Bolts are expecting to draft an OT......but if Okudah or Simmons falls, boom..... So they get rid of lead foot at qb after all these years cuz they won’t a mobile qb and now they’re going to spend #6 on an OT? I’ll throw up This! I think you're on to something Moe. Sure, we'll draft an O-lineman or two like every team does in every draft but probably not with an early draft pick. However, if the draft goes as predicted- Burrow/Young/Okudah/Simmons/Tua - and we don't want an OT then who do we take? Maybe Brown because he's the BPA? Murray or Queen to bolster our LBers? a WR?? That there is a tough question!

Now I’m going to make what I thought was the least controversial statement about football of all time- As of 4/20/20 Casey Hayward is better than Jeff Okudah.

If I may, I’d like to point out that both posts could potentially be nominated. One can never have too many irons in the fire after all. Unless you’re a blacksmith I suppose..: or a housewife.
