I'm somewhat anxious to see this since I don't live in Cali anymore... But the fact that both the Rams and CHARGERS are featured leads me to believe it will be lopsided towards the Rams, they seem like one big dysfunctional team. But I'll be excited for any Chargers coverage at all... What say you? www.nfl.com/news/hard-knocks-los-angeles-preview-what-to-expect-this-year

First episode was pretty cool... Highlights for me were watching Herbert throw, he's got a great release and is accurate. Lynn and TT's relationship seems professional and solid... I like Lynn as a coach. Lots of COVID prep coverage which I could care less about, assuming we'll get more football as the weeks go on. Got to see some players cut... One guy was pissed! The TE, forgot his name. Bosa getting emotional over his contract, I'd cry my ass off getting that much cash! The part about shitting in the porta-potty at the very end had me rolling lol...

Herbert looked good. Interesting to learn that Lynn had Covid. Pretty light on the football but that’s the world we’re in right now.

Yea I'm thinking the drama will turn up, especially with Ramsey... I forgot he is still on his rookie deal and due a fat payday. Tyrod looks to be in charge but I want to see how KA and Herbert mesh.

He was allowed to rejoin the team after a couple of days instead of a 14-day minimum. It would / will be a much bigger deal if somebody has a "false negative" test because needless to say you can't follow protocol when you're on the field in full gear. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Good news! I didn’t watch the whole show. IMO, it’s not as good without preseason games and the drama of how certain players on the bubble or fighting to get on a team perform in game situations.

It really is kinda boring... No way in hell would I be watching if it was just the Rams or any other team. Considering the amount of fans the Rams and Chargers have I'm sure the ratings suck for HBO.

I just watched this week's episode: Observation #1: I love the way that Coach Phil McGheogan addresses the WR corps! No nonsense, and you better bleeping block!! Observation #2: It was good to see some of the behind the scene story about Super Melvin's "hold in". The coaching staff couldn't have been more supportive, and I was especially taken by Lynn's and d-line coach Giff Smith's comments about how awesome Mel had been during the process:
Smith: "Melvin's been awesome, man."
Lynn: "I know."
Smith: "Totally engaged, totally cool, he truly wants to start and finish at the same organization."
Lynn: "I know."
Smith: "And I get that."
Lynn: "He couldn't make it more clear to me."
Observation #3: Allen vs. Harris going at it daily is going to make both sharper.
Observation #4: Super Mel is a great athlete, but Aaron Donald is an absolute freak of nature!

I agree with all those point joe... Watching Harris and Allen at that practice was fun and made me really miss football. And I told you freak, I wasn't worried about Mel's holdout, the Chargers really do seem to have a different mindset this year.

He's an unrestricted free agent next year.
