Congrats to the Bucks and Giannis who carried his team with 50 points in the deciding game. Herculean effort especially with Middleton and Holiday having poor offensive nights. He’ll, until the last minute of the game Bobby Portis Jr was the #2 offensive scorer for the Bucks. He had 16. Hah ! 17 points on nearly 50% shooting is not a poor offensive game, especially when the plays were primarily going through Giannis. If Middleton shot 100% he would have had 29 points, which I suppose should have been the expectation, right ? Holliday on the other hand did have a poor offensive night. Anybody who has known who he is for more than the past 2 weeks, would realize he’s never been an offensive juggernaut...

Giannis, Thanasis and Kostas Antetokounmpo are now the first trio of brothers to become NBA champions in league history. Giannis, 26, and Thanasis, 29, helped the Milwaukee Bucks defeat the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, receiving their first rings and joining their brother Kostas, 23, who won a championship with the Los Angeles Lakers last season.
Craziness !

He's known as a defensive guard ?

He's known as a defensive guard ? He is a very good defensive player. They put him on Paul, Booker and when Payne came in hot last night they put him on Payne and the guy stopped scoring. He’s the cooler

Craziness ! “Helped” is an interesting word to use for Thanasis. He didn’t play a single second last night. He also scored 9 points total in 4 rounds of the playoffs, so last night was not an isolated incident, dude was along for the ride just like his other brother was last year. If either one if them was named Joe Smith, they wouldn’t even be in the NBA...

Let me know the next time a game is decided by shooting percentages rather than points We’re not talking about who won the game, we’re talking about what distinguishes a good individual performance in a single game. He had the second worst FG shooting percentage of any player on the Bucks who scored last night (only Holiday’s percentage was worse and Holiday’s impact on the defensive side was great).

Oh FFS, what a ridiculously useless thing to point out. Do the guys who didn’t score get a pass, for missing all their shots ? Not that it matters anyway, 46% is good whether it’s the best on your team or worst on your team. Middleton was good defensively too...

Does it make you geel better to say Middleton was better than those 2? Have at it. You’re trying to tell us he had such a good individual game because he shot 46% and I just pointed out that by that metric everybody had a good individual game. In other words, not special. In other words, not elite.

In other words, not elite. “Useless white guy” Wow, you never fail to prove how little you actually follow this game. He’s one of their most clutch bench players on that team, and while Game 6 wasn’t his finest moment, overall he had a good Finals series. His 8 rebounds weren’t so useless in Game 6 either. He was also recently in the slam dunk contest, which I only mention, because that’s probably something that goes against your “white guy” stereotype. Middleton and Portis Jr both had good games, yes believe it or not, it’s possible that multiple players can have a solid performance even when one sticks out above the rest. Middleton will get you about 20 points and 5 assists on average per night, and will shoot around 50% total, 40% from behind the arc and 90% from the free throw line. If one of his three missed 3 pointers in Game 6 went in, he would have satisfied every single one of those metrics. He also had a solid performance defensively, and came up with 4 steals. I’ve never heard anyone call Middleton “elite”. He’s a legit #2 and a consistent player, 2 things you fail to realize, or are too stubborn to admit...

I'm happy for the Bucks... Just glad a different team finally won a championship for once...
