Let’s see Tucker was 0-1 and the useless white guy was 0-4. Does it make you geel better to say Middleton was better than those 2? Have at it. You’re trying to tell us he had such a good individual game because he shot 46% and I just pointed out that by that metric everybody had a good individual game. In other words, not special. In other words, not elite. “Useless white guy” Wow, you never fail to prove how little you actually follow this game. He’s one of their most clutch bench players on that team, and while Game 6 wasn’t his finest moment, overall he had a good Finals series. His 8 rebounds weren’t so useless in Game 6 either. He was also recently in the slam dunk contest, which I only mention, because that’s probably something that goes against your “white guy” stereotype. Middleton and Portis Jr both had good games, yes believe it or not, it’s possible that multiple players can have a solid performance even when one sticks out above the rest. Middleton will get you about 20 points and 5 assists on average per night, and will shoot around 50% total, 40% from behind the arc and 90% from the free throw line. If one of his three missed 3 pointers in Game 6 went in, he would have satisfied every single one of those metrics. He also had a solid performance defensively, and came up with 4 steals. I’ve never heard anyone call Middleton “elite”. He’s a legit #2 and a consistent player, 2 things you fail to realize, or are too stubborn to admit... LOL. I thought that would trigger you. Just didn’t realize the extent of it. There you go on percentages again. Middleton is a #2 on the Bucks only because they have Giannis and a bunch of guys. On most any other team he wouldn’t be the #2 guy

He’s a weak #2 who is a champion now because of the dominant #1 Giannis and injuries to the 2/3 of the Nets stars. Suns wouldn’t have made it without all its opponents missing their actual #1 or #2 players. It was a fun series between 2 teams who probably wouldn’t have been there if everybody was healthy. So Middleton isn’t all of a sudden more than he ever was.

But the Bucks have been contenders the last 3 seasons, and this year they finally made a move that got them over the hump, being upgrading from that choker Drew (eh, I mean Eric) Bledsoe to Jrue Holliday. I honestly don’t know if the Bed-Stuy Ringchasers would have even gotten past Atlanta, let alone the Suns. The Suns on the other hand, I think are a lot harder to discredit for being there. Maybe it’s just the West isn’t as mighty as you think...

Is your memory bad?

To be fair, those were probably the best of who made themselves available, and it’s a far sight away from who made themselves available in 1992.

It's different this time as well in competition. Opposing teams have NBA players on them. Not superstars, but they are NBA players.

You guys are nuts ! Any team that has JaVale McGee is destined for greatness...because of him !
I may have had to look up who “K.Johnson” was too, but I’m sure Pop had great reason to want him...

Lakers sign Russell Westbrook ?? REACT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was on vacation when this all went down, so didn’t know all the details in real time, but I’d say this is worthy of extending this thread by one more most. My reaction ? The Lakers got their asses totally kicked in that trade, and Washington’s FO looks like a bunch of geniuses right now. They turned a horrendous John Wall contract into 5 solid players including 1 rising star (Dinwiddie) and the 2020 6th Man of the Year in just 1 year. The Lakers did not sign Westbrook as the above post states, they traded for what is arguably the worst contract floating around the NBA right now. Russ is on his 3rd Team in 3 years, because he’s on the decline and not worth his ridiculous contract anymore. It’s become an annual game of “who is stupid enough to take him on this year” and this years winner is the Lakers ! We should start placing bets on which team he’ll be with next year. Russ has declined so much, he didn’t even make the All-Star team last year in the “weak ass Eastern Conference” where even a putz like Khris Middleton can look like a star, right Moe ? The Lakers gave away youth and promise, in exchange for a single declining player who will be nothing more than an impatient afterthought alongside LeBron & AD. Let me tell you too, a point guard who can’t hit a free throw is worth a TRILLION dollars in the final minute of a close game. Don’t believe me, ask Doc Rivers about Ben Simmons ! God Bless whoever decided to make that trade !

Funny, this is exactly what you said about Chris Paul last off season and he ended up in the Finals🤷🏽♂️ And Kyle Kuzma, Caldwell-Pope and Montrez is a great deal for Washington??? Cellar dwellers. Mark it down
