Since 2016 they have won SIXTY games. Went to the playoffs 3 times, never losing in the first round. They are clearly going back this year. How do we stack up on all that ? Put a chip on Herbert's shoulder... The "Happy go lucky California kid" image will only get you so far. Rogers always plays like he has something to prove, its worked for him. Rogers is a native of the world famous Cali college party town, Chico. Played college ball initially at Butte JC in Oroville. Was noticed by Cal coach who was at Butte to check out another player. Was a top rated QB draft pick who went late in the 1st.
Herbert missed all that. Born to QB the Ducks, did go near the top of the 1st. He has to have his own persona. Being genetically gifted, loves the game and works as hard to improve as is humanly possible, people are going to have to think what they want.
Herbert can spend more time on his PR image after we win a Championship.

his public persona is all milktoast. but you can catch a reaction here and there on the field that lets you know he don't play that. A smirk here or there when he knows he has 6 or an Aghast look on his face in mock surprise when he is told "that was a dime" this kid can give me cliche after cliche during interviews and be super boring. but he balls out on that field like the NFL ows him money.

I wish TT was better at the trade game (outside the draft)... He's like 40 year old virgin when it comes to making a needed trade. The more Staley wins, the higher the pressure will turn up on Telesco. Staley is building credibility by the minute and the ‘business as usual approach’ is just not going to be acceptable. Staley wants to win now, the fans want the team to win now, and the chargers need to establish themselves in LA etc… Telesco is going to have to become more ‘open’ to doing things in ways he’s not been comfortable doing in the past, I think he’s a smart guy so I think he’ll adapt. Two weeks in Norway has not changed your postings much.....still pulling WAG's out of your backend, or just throwing out any of your beliefs as simple facts. First off....if the Chargers are winning, or as you put it "The more Staley wins", then there is pressure on TT....ridiculous. The pressure comes from losing, not winning. Then this one is particularly fun....."Staley wants to win now", with the rest of the sentence basically implying TT is all alone in his wanting to lose for the long term benefit of something abstract and undefined. What a crock....everyone in the organization wants to win....PERIOD. This next one is simply fan crap......"Telesco is going to have to become more ‘open’ to doing things in ways he’s not been comfortable doing in the past".....you are just clueless about how GM's actually work. In an effort to be fair, you are not alone, as most fans have little understanding of the GM job. Your player evaluations are rift with bias.....Bradwell should be playing, and of course Pipkins must be released. Perhaps the coaches actually making those decisions know just a tad bit more than you.....perhaps? Just maybe? Keep posting though....it is entertaining.
