Watching some ESPN and they are pretty much calling for the Chargers to be done. I tend to agree. Even before the injuries they struggled against the Raiders and should have beat the Chiefs. It’s just the Charger way. Injuries, coaching , ownership, whatever.. this team is snake bit.
Don't be shocked when this team bites the snake back this week. Texas Rattlesnake Style.

During the pre-season the Chargers were getting throttled. I brought this up and everyone was saying “it’s just pre-season, it means nothing” but I could clearly see this team had zero depth. After our starters there are a long list of nobodies that simply cannot compete.

I was optimistic once, during the Bobby Ross era.. I remember Boss Ross did through fundamentals what no other Chargers coach has: Got to a Super Bowl. I also vividly remember how that team matched up against a lot more talent and money. I think Marty had the best chance to really win it all. But as we know, a few bad plays killed a winning era. I hope one day we’ll have the chance to cheer on a team that really, truly dominates opposing teams. |
