So nobody on here will acknowledge the impact losing these top players has on the end result? Those coaches simply need to find a way.....and if they don't it is all on them? You guys would have turnstiles at the front door..... ......and having such a severe reaction would definitely impact your ability to attract talented coaches in the future. You’re right that loss of talent will have a real affect. But even with all of the players available the team wasn’t playing well, or up to expectation. Sometimes people get fired over bad results from bad luck. |

Meh, there's always the next 60. Our most successful years came under experienced Head coaches: Don Coryell,
Bobby Ross Marty Schottenheimer Norval Eugene turner *
Norv got us to the AFC championship game so I guess he counts too but I will put an asterisk on him. Wasn't his team.
The best predictor of future success is past success.
Can we send Spanos Sean Payton's number?
That’s precisely what I argued (here and elsewhere) during the HC hiring process. Pay for proven experience. Or watch your generational QB rookie contract vaporize in a cloud of defensive line. |
