But Wood, your favorite OT, Risner, was measured at 34" on the arms, usually good enough for an OT to escape the T-Rex tag... Winner: Dalton Risner, Kansas State
At the Senior Bowl, Dalton Risner was a little under the arm length requirement, but he managed to just hit the 34-inch mark at the senior bowl. That is good news, but the length isn’t how he won, but instead used technique and quickness to win.
Right cat. You are agreeing with me and disagreeing with frozen. See the original posts ! Ok. I will say it. Martez Ivey and Chuma Edoga, both mid round prospects, have very long arms, which may serve them quite well on Sundays.

Okay, right...now I see it...still getting used to this new format...Quote BUTTON is at top...I was reacting to you saying you were going to wait to round 4 for an OT...

cat, I am not necessarily waiting until the 4th round for an OT.
frozen, what are your thoughts on Garrett Bradbury...very short arms, lots of reps on the bench.
Will he even be on the board @ #28.. big riser !

Without knowing the status of Lamp, I like OG at 28. Rivers like all pocket passers needs a place to step up into. The Bolts had a major weak spot there. To me the impact is an extra second or 2. After that DT. We need a run stuffer, 2 block eater. You will be sitting the Fatest Cat of the draft and really excited when we get down to 28. Guards always fall and are undervalued in the draft (look at Lamp falling for example). You targeting that position, I bet there are goodies there for the taking at 28.

Its a huge hole to me. perhaps DT is better at 28 with the knowledge that an OG will be there later. I wonder though. We bemoan the fact that TT hasn't fully addressed the OL, yet we look for a DT, ILB, MIKE? I fully expect Lamp to win a starting position. (que Disc). But like anything else, with huge injury players, can they?

But like anything else, with huge injury players, can they? The delusion on Lamp from everyone is stunning to me. Why would you expect him to become a starter, he has done nothing but rehab and watch for two years. You say OG is a huge hole, which I agree on, yet Lamp was healthy and didn't get a sniff at playing time. I know I know....AL saying 'we got this poor play from our OG's, and Lamp is super talented, but we are not making any changes because of the current chemistry' or some such garbage. Talent plays.....it is that simple. Lamp will get TC to prove he belongs, but I have my doubts he makes the roster, much less starter.

Just because you are a Mod now doesn't mean you should start thinking...... You love the measurement aspect far too much. I look at it, but it doesn't define the player for me.

“We brought Forrest Lamp here to be a long-time starter. But well see. Michael (Schofield) stepped up and played well last year when Forrest was hurt. It just so happened when Forrest came back and was healthy, the offensive line had a good chemistry, and they were rolling. It was hard to plug him back in
