If Staley Sticks around.
These are my top picks.
Defensive: Vic Fangio
Has a history with BS and is a fantastic Defensive mind.
Offensive: Frank Reich History with the chargers and was great in Philly and in Indy (with Rivers)
Can we get Pep Hamilton back as QB coach?
What are yours?
Updating after news of Lombardi and Shane day gone.

This would be a phenomenal pair of coordinators. Excellent in domain, plus HC experience.

I agree with those choices. On the one hand we should be a desirable team, player talent wise, to latch on to as a coordinator. We should be a team with immediate upside, as opposed to a rebuilding team.
On the other hand, if Staley stays his butt is red red hot out of the gates, and everyone knows it. That could mean prospects are concerned for stability, and it probably makes for short contracts being offered.
On the other other hand, that red hot seat could mean a possible elevation to HC in short order. Maybe attractive for coordinator prospects? Maybe frustrating for us fans, who have already seen these folks not succeed as head coaches.
On the other other other hand, I understand TT is expiring. A lot hinges on the TT direction, as it's pretty common that a new GM will want a hand in top staff selection.
A lot of interesting possibilities. But I give it a 68% chance that we ride all the same horses next year.

I want a QB coach and or guru!!!
Brian Johnson, Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks coach Joe Brady, Buffalo Bills quarterbacks coach Kliff Kingsbury, former Arizona Cardinals head coach Nathaniel Hackett, former Denver Broncos head coach (revenge signing) Defense, Just 3 I would bother adding because Staley will likely make it tough on anyone. Vic Fangio, former NFL defensive coordinator and head coach Jerod Mayo, New England Patriots inside linebackers coach Brian Flores, Pittsburgh Steelers defensive assistant

I would agree with your picks. But I still think Reich might land a HC gig.

Why would Reich come back to a team and likely GM he was already the OC for and got fired from?

Why would Reich come back to a team and likely GM he was already the OC for and got fired from? Because contrary to how Charger fans feel these days, the club has a bunch of talent, enough to push for a Super Bowl. Everybody wants to win a Super Bowl......

Meh, I doubt it. He's not that great, couldn't do anything with PR and a younger Slayer. I like my list better.

Pep Hamilton should be called. Herbert's QB coach in his first year. The guy is a wizard.
If he wants OC, give it to him.

If not a change in coaching, at last bring back KVN.

You are the one who talks about talent, rather than coaches. In other words, I am calling bs on this post
