I’d bet on younger: Zac Robinson, LaFleur, Brian Johnson.

I’d bet on younger: Zac Robinson, LaFleur, Brian Johnson. If Staley holds the course, and gets away with it again, it will be someone who is no threat to his HC job. If it is someone qualified, then he got overruled. Never doubt me.

So no threat to the HC..... but if they start out 2-6, and the offence is solid, but the defence isn't.... You believe Staley would be safe?

I completely disagree with that. They deliberately limited Jackson's passing. He is a great running threat and their WR's sucked. Roman adjusted accordingly. Greg Roman was the 2019 Assistant Coach of the Year by the way................................

This gets back to what we have said for years at head coach. We want an established veteran coach in the NFL. We have Staley. So now we are asking for the same in our coordinators. I am sure you and Staley are excited about Nicky Newcomer the OC of Crawfish Community College. But we are not.

Rex Rover from John Carrol is what I would consider Unqualified. and you just know that running backs coach is the son of one of Staleys friends is high up on the list because he has character.

Staley will call D in 2023. LB is probably only D coach change. They had a best in NFL series of games at end of year. The plan is build on that. OC will be a take charge guy that everyone respects who believes in pass 1st, strong run balance. Age immaterial. Best way for Staley to keep his job is win. There's no way around getting the best OC possible ( for less than Max dollars). I think I'll like the 2023 offense.

Or Jim Caldwell if he doesn't get a HC gig. Totally serious... I'd take either one of them.

I would be shocked if they hire someone not directly in the Shannahan or McVey trees. I would also be surprised if they hire someone like Frank Reich. I think they’re going to look for an up-and-coming QB coach or passing/running game coordinator out of SF, LAR, GB, or PHI.

Miami was good. They got out scored 31-3 in the playoffs. Any other team is probably firing their DC after that onslaught.
