Haven’t heard his name mentioned on the list of candidates which to me seems underwhelming. The fact that they haven’t pulled the trigger yet makes me think they haven’t met the guy yet who killed it in the room. Curious if they are still waiting for somebody on 1 of the 4 remaining playoff teams. I’d love to see them interview Dan Pitcher and Brian Johnson. |

While admitting that I don't know shit about the qualities and skill sets of the OC candidates that we are looking at, if I had a choice, I would pick Todd Monken. Maybe because he's in my back yard. Maybe because he was the missing link for defensive guru and first time HC Kirby Smart. Maybe it's that he has run every room for offenses both in the NFL and in college. He made Stetson Bennett a star. He is inventive and has a killer instinct. In a nutshell he helped build the best team in program in college. That would be a sneaky good hire......doubt they even interview him. Sadly......

My statement you are quoting refers to no change in defence structure, Staley calling the D, Hill remains as DC. Whom they choose for OC will be interesting, and how successful is clearly unknown, but at least they are attempting to fix an issue. I honestly don't think there is a change to anything nor will there be. Tell that to Lombardi's wife......he took her credit cards away.

I've wondered ^. It's a lateral so he'd have to have permission and want to be a Charger. If so, he could make his mark more clearly out of Andy's enormous shadow. So, maybe.

Or 30 other teams apparently. So doing the basic math, competency by you is defined by being in the top 6.25% of the top .01 % of a given profession. That’s some serious 6 Sigma shit right there.
