How much do we have to pay to get rid of Bosa? Our captain was a cancer in the playoffs. I'd like to find a way to dump the whiny SOB as long as it doesn't cost a fortune.

Restructure and keep KA and then draft a WR. Mack stays, Bosa stays simply because of his contract. Bosa is still owed a crap load of money and nobody would want him or his contract. I have no clue about the oline, Pipkins I'd keep. Feiler I guess not? Calahan likely gone, Tranquill likely gone Replace Everett with Kincaid, Mayer, or Washington. I honestly have no clue how this offseason will shape up. No free agents jump out at me and our own free agents can kick rocks. I'm looking forward to the first 3 rounds of the draft and that's it. I'm ready to get off the rollercoaster. KA restructure is the preferred move, but if he won't, see ya..... You have me on the WR team, but I want one in the second round. You are correct on Bosa, sadly.....I wonder if "nobody would want him" is true. Quietly shop him? Those three TE's are gone by round two completion.... Chargers have FA's they need to keep.....Pipkins being one of them. The only problem with that is the WR position is not that deep. Depends on who is available and what we did in round 1, but yea round 2 is probably ok.

Herbert's 3rd down(and 4th down) crutch ?? I'll believe it when I see it. Yea, probably a restructure..... Herbert will have plenty of options, but KA is not a must have. Daniel Pooper Popper is basically saying he is gone at this point. 23 mil over the cap is a lot.

So there are a bunch of big decisions this year thanks to the 'all in' effort from last off season. Cap space is nonexistent at this point, but with some moves, cap space can be created. The problem is some of those moves might be painful for the fans, even if they are wise decisions. Two such players under consideration would be KA and Mack. releasing both would bring serious cap relief......but there are others that can be considered as well. Many ways to achieve the desired result. I am for KA being a cap casualty, unless he is willing to do a serious restructure that heavily favors the club. I would retain Mack....he just brings too much that is too hard to replace. What are other ideas....opinions, thoughts? Are we tagging anyone? I love that some fans believe that the plan for this offseason is just now in the making. They didn't go all in, there is a plan for the cap for this season coming up and for the future. Just because we are not privy to it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Keenan Allen is too important to this team. It's unlikely that we move on from him.

The only financially smart way out from Bosa is a trade, I believe. Otherwise pump his tires, tell him he is greatest ever, hope he buys in.

Pipkins wants to speak with you about your views on this...... I think he wants to speak to you.......he sucked hard ass his first 3 years, then when it was a contract year he played well. When YOU say it depends on the money, then you don't think he's that great. Nothing gets by me, your Overlord. True. It was a contract year. I believe Pipkins also became a pappa that year and was in a highly respected off season training program. Lots of motivation there. He has played well and will get a chance to continue. Hopefully with the Boltz.

Certainly the management team has looked at 'next year' and 'two years' and 'five years', as well as every single contract expiration date.....all while forming a plan. So nobody planned on Guyton acl injury, maybe he was the speed guy in the plan....and maybe he doesn't recover with the same level of speed.... New plan.... Or Bosa missing so much time from injury.....again. What is the plan on that? Or the plan for this off season was a restructuring of several players. Talked last year with their agents, positive responses on doing that. Here we are today, and interest in restructuring is luke warm at best......going to be needing a new plan. Don't be foolish.....there is only one player too important, and Herbert is needing a contract very soon. Losing an aging petulant WR is not a tough decision.

Can the whole team be traded to a new owner?

I thought that was the point in having him on roster.....speed to get deep, something the Charger WR's mostly lack. I agree though, draft the solution.....

Never heard of KA being called petulant before. Bosa, yes.

Can the whole team be traded to a new owner? Similar to Bosa, you are stuck with Spanos.

So costs us $7mil to move him. I guess with a post June 1 designation, we could do ok for 2023, but kicking $19mil dead cap into 2024. You're best served by adjusting your expectations.
