I think he wants to speak to you.......he sucked hard ass his first 3 years, then when it was a contract year he played well. When YOU say it depends on the money, then you don't think he's that great. Nothing gets by me, your Overlord. True. It was a contract year. I believe Pipkins also became a pappa that year and was in a highly respected off season training program. Lots of motivation there. He has played well and will get a chance to continue. Hopefully with the Boltz. I have a knack for shining the light uniquely on things.......................................

Certainly the management team has looked at 'next year' and 'two years' and 'five years', as well as every single contract expiration date.....all while forming a plan. So nobody planned on Guyton acl injury, maybe he was the speed guy in the plan....and maybe he doesn't recover with the same level of speed.... New plan.... Or Bosa missing so much time from injury.....again. What is the plan on that? Or the plan for this off season was a restructuring of several players. Talked last year with their agents, positive responses on doing that. Here we are today, and interest in restructuring is luke warm at best......going to be needing a new plan. Don't be foolish.....there is only one player too important, and Herbert is needing a contract very soon. Losing an aging petulant WR is not a tough decision. Never heard of KA being called petulant before. Bosa, yes. Me either. We just make up stuff to try and make our point.

You guys are funny......
There have been many instances of KA pouting on the sidelines after not getting enough targets, or the ball going to some other WR when KA was open.
It isn't often, but enough in my view to fairly be called petulant.
I am with you Amped, would prefer to keep KA, but restructuring that contract is a must.

The conundrum TT faces is the injury history with KA, as well as the cost. On the other side is Mack, who played all 17 games, was reasonably effective but has a big cost at 27 million. Chargers are over the cap by just under 20 mil, so releasing Mack gets them some room, but the loss in talent seems great. So replace Mack via draft? It would be an option, obviously. Trading Bosa would be cap relief as well, but does any GM want him with that huge contract and injury history? Plenty of ways to get this done, will be interesting to see how they go about it.

My predictions: I think they have to find a way to keep KA. We have no replacement WR1. Pipkins is a known product. They developed him and he’ll be cheaper to keep vs spending a Rd1 pick on a RT (that may or may not work out). I think they have to restructure Bosa or trade him. Do they want to commit to him with a restructure? How can they replace Mack? His restructure last year means he’s almost certainly here. I think Feiler, Hopkins, and Tranquil are probably gone. Callahan is probably gone unless other teams are scared of his age and injury history and he’s willing to stay at a low cost. I’m expecting a mini overhaul of the LB room this offseason. Draft a new WR.....KA gives cap savings....it is what it is. Keeping Pipkins would be wise.... I have wanted to move Bosa for two years now..... Mack was signed as a FA last year, he is going into year two, cap savings are real, but so is the loss of talent. Keep him.... I agree Hopkins and Feiler are gone, would like to keep Tranquil and Callahan, but there is going to be pain somewhere..... LB's are supposedly not important in the Staley scheme, but is seems stopping the run isn't either, so.... We traded last years 2nd and this years 6th for Mack so he was not a free agent signing. Tranquil should be priority #1 of the group
Feiler will be replaced by Salyer now that Slater is back. they will let Davis will walk cause they will get J.C. Jackson back

I disagree. It would be a mistake and not like TT. Perform, keep your nose clean, and he will take care of our drafted players.

I rule with fear. Fear of challenging me. You wanted KA gone, now you want to keep him. af wanted a WR in the first round. Now, after my destruction, he is defeated and says second round. Oh, I do love my ultimate power in the Empire. Kneel, until I say not to.

Thanks for the correction on Mack....I thought he was a FA signing. Regardless, he is still under contract for this next season, and there can be significant cap relief if he was released. Not my preferred approach, but might be the way to go. Release Mack and the negative cap is gone instantly....
