AFCW obviously plus same AFCE, NFCN but KC got option games with 2 teams who earned a weaker sched. I'd think the SB Champs would get top 3. Like Phi (which they got), Dal (we got), NYG. That seems off.
Those option games should be against first place teams....... yep Jax and Cincy. W-L over #1 in the weakest Div

Including the guy who put up 3 second half points. Win a playoff game. Burrows deserves an extension. Hurts deserves an extension. Tua and Herbert? Fifth year option |

Why did you say hopefully they don't do it ? Nobody who played in JaX deserves an extension. Including the guy who put up 3 second half points. Win a playoff game. Burrows deserves an extension. Hurts deserves an extension. Tua and Herbert? Fifth year option Dicker?
We struggled all year to put up 2nd half points. Injuries and Lombardi. The longer we wait on Herbert, the more he'll cost to keep. I'm not giving up on him.

I learned that this coach and these players don’t have the “right stuff”. No team gives up that kind of advantage and survives. The roster needed a full scale turnover and the coach let go. Should have burned it down and started over. None of these guys will escape it. We followed up a 12-4 season with 5-11 after the Pats blew us out in the playoffs. We’ll be lucky to get 5 wins in 2023. Just wondering g what the rest of you learned. |
