Yea lets sign a guy that can't stay on the field... Which would mean KA, MW and Palmer are all playing.

Our WR corps is aging, injury prone, and subpar. Burrow has elite WR's and is thriving, Tua is a mediocre QB and puts up numbers because he has WR's... Herbert throws to guys like Deandre Carter.

Oddly, Herbert had set passing records with aging, injury prone and subpar receivers. He would have twice Mahomes #s if they were any good.

Yep, could you imagine what the Spanos would have to pay for Herbert with a healthy MW and KA in his prime... I am fully aware that last years focus was on defense in free agency and we bolstered the line with our #1, BUT this year we have to get Herbert some weapons.
If I think Robinson is a pipe dream at #21, I'm taking a TE in the 1st...
Anderson or Murphy would have to fall to even consider an edge.

Unless Bijan or a top-end edge is there at 21, my preference is a trade back to collect more picks. Tons of value in day 2. I would not take a WR or TE in 1.

TE @ 21 might be a little scary but that's what scouts are for, everyone wants their own Kelce. I'd rather not take a WR in 1 either.

With little to zero information, I have to wonder about the health of JC. If there are any problems with his recovery, even with him being healthy, CB has to be a strong consideration. So it is easy to think, CB, RB, WR, TE, Edge.....in other words, if TT stays at 21st, they likely go BPA. Projecting the first twenty picks is a fools errand, so it should be a fun first round, eh

If it’s defense at 21 I think edge or d line. I just hope it’s BPA on the offensive side of the ball.

Kincaid had been ranked top 10 and "best receiver in this draft". He may not make it to 21. Mayer "most polished TE" is a quality blocker and receiver. Washington is a contender for "Best blocking TE- maybe ever" who also has huge hands and enormous catch radius. BPA offensive weapon that isn't TE with the other of 21-54.

I’m on the other side of that analysis, especially after Staley’s comments about CBs being the difference between his Rams success and the relatively poor performance of his D with the Chargers. If Branch or a top CB is there, I think that is more likely than TE or WR.

Um........no. I'll give you a list of better, and one of them was a Charger !! Rod Bernstine. Renown for his blocking, did you know he also has the most career rushes for any TE ever ? 248 runs !!!! Mike Ditka, John Mackey, Kittle, Gronk, ....on and on.

As a college player Darnell was pretty much undefeated. Some project him as a tackle but he only weighs @ 270. He'd need to add a few pounds to that 6-6 frame. Gronk was @ same size, 265. What was his 40? DW 4.64.
