What do we do if Meyer and Kincaid are gone at 21 for TE. Do you do Washington of Georgia ? Yes. Without question. I would almost rather have Washington over Kincaid... SDC got it right early. Washington is my secret weapon, Really like the guy. Record size hands, wingspan, plays with attitude. You want a 6-6 OL that can run and catch? Likes to maul people? Darnell's your TE.

Maybe so.....or they could play him this season under final year of contract, tag him the next season, then let him walk..... Plenty of ways this could play out.

Acting on talent is not really wrong, but falling in love with the pick is always a mistake. Not exercising the 5th year option acknowledges his inconsistency, and a willingness to move on. The club has clearly put the pressure on the player.....
