Alex Katson reported that some sources at U Mich confirmed the deal is done and Harbaugh just doesn’t do contracts until end of season, but school is confident he’s coming back. Also said Chargers team sources said if Harbaugh was coming to the Chargers it would have been after Jacksonville, and that ship has sailed.
Bill needs to retire. Please no Matt Patricia or Josh McDildo offense. But my bet is he goes to the Commanders.

Maybe Tomlin will come here?If Harbaugh and Billicheat are a no go I would be fine with Tomlin.Hes tough,professional,and would definitely change the whole wimpy vibe the Bolts have these days after Yogi Staley.

If Harbaugh was committed to coming back there’s no advantage to waiting. May even be disadvantages in recruiting. Unfortunately, we did t have a job opening after Jax so not sure how Charger sources could say that |

Hasn’t he been there longer than Cowher at this point? Cowher 15 years, Tomlin 16th year. The fans here are spoiled. So you don't do SB, they do not like you. The fans want to move on. The trouble is the Rooney family. HC is a job for life with them. Tony Dungy told Tomlin to take the job: "You'll be there for life !". Their last loss was unique though. Tomlin said paraphrasing. "We were bad in all 3 phases. I don't have the answers because if I did we would not be bad in all 3 phases." It was a strange admission.
