So what you did was discount all of my ideas, and solved everything by getting one Center and a belief that they will get a better OC available than Moore. Not a great reply, I have to tell you. I simply articulated that your 'ideas' are living in fantasy land....right next to Staley's take on his defence. I could not possibly solve the disaster of this season, but I do acknowledge the Chargers will be needing a top level OC moving forward. Is your "OC"-Offensive Center. Or Offensive Coordinator ?

Is your "OC"-Offensive Center. Or Offensive Coordinator ? Centre You did not like my ideas, but your solution for all of our organizational trouble is getting one Center. That is actually Approved for Freak Strategy of the Week.

Nowhere have I said this solves all......clearly there is a need at HC. Watching that media post game with Staley has convinced me he needs to go. Not because of the interaction with the reporter, but rather the obstinance at what is now three years of unsuccessful defences and Staley's stay the course insistence. Having strong belief in your efforts is one thing, refusing to acknowledge the reality of consistent failure is quite another thing. I have previously blamed TT/J Spanos for allowing this result to continue for years. My thought has been they should have forced Staley to hire an experienced DC, and let that DC do the job. Clearly that type of conversation would have resulted in confrontation, as Staley actually believes the defence is not the problem, no matter what the statistics might imply. They, TT/J Spanos should have had that conversation two years ago....if it went poorly, fire Staley and move on.....which is where they are today.

Fire Staley and Telesco. Give Belichick full control. Cap trouble: Trade Bosa and Williams. Spend 15 million on a WR that can go long. Draft an Edge in the first round. I just saved about 45 million in cap money. You are all welcome for this post ^^^ Simple really. BB isn't interested.....and is way too expensive. Nobody wants Bosa.....and MW will get you a 5th rd pick...maybe. 15 million for a WR in FA might get you one that can go long, but can't catch....so there is that problem. They better find a capable OC...... Can you imagine BB and Johnny Spani in the same building...? I can't. There will be friction. Dean wouldn't wish that upon his spawn. Harbaugh presents the same predicament. Both men would cost too much. I would look for a current offensive coordinator that wants that HC opportunity. A guy that emphasizes a strong OL. Frank Smith is my best guess. Build around your multi-million dollar QB. Protect him and develop him. What is Pep Hamilton up to these days...? Would he want to re-united with JH as QB coach and get his coaching career jump started again? Bosa has become glass. At this point, I'd be glad to trade him for a young slot corner who hasn't been given a chance, yet. I'm not sold on Ja'Sir and the secondary is about to get really thin as Vato leaves via free agency. MW is glass, also. He might get you a 4th rounder at this point. Neither one has much trade value... getting rid of their salaries is the goal. I wouldn't spend $15 million on a FA WR either. The only FA player I'm interested in is a center (after I release CL and his salary). Neither guards are playing up to expectations. An experienced center to help call protections (along with a HC that understands blocking schemes) would help the whole OL and unlock the offense. Then draft a CB/OLB in the 1st/2nd rounds... to replace Bosa/Vato. Follow up with RB in the 3rd. Draft depth at BPA and need. Bring in a DC that knows how to develop secondary... and understands the value of top-notch CB's. Tony Oden...? Fire TT, please. Fire Staley, please. Let a consultant interview/hire a GM.

Ex GB GM Ron Wolf consulted on the TT hiring. Not a bad idea but clearly does not guaranty positive results. Get a good list of prospects, it's still blindfold darts. Spend the money on a top HC/GM is the best way to improve the odds.

I would have forced a change two years ago, and firing Staley then would not have bothered me one bit. The fatal blow is TT/J Spanos not correcting this earlier.....TT gets fired, Spanos has the golden name, eh..... I have no idea about the dynamics in the organization, but that media post game showed me a delusional HC, and how can TT/J Spanos ignore that delusion? The statistics scream HERE IS THE PROBLEM.....Staley's defences are terrible.

Williams can’t be traded because he’s going to be cut and everyone knows it.

The first 15 minutes. I been saying this since early last year... good watch. but also depressing because he is dead nuts on about the Spanos family. They would rather eat dirt than pay 1 cent for a coach that is not actively working in their office. I bet they make him clock in.

These NFL teams with profit sharing get around $400,000,000 a year.,that means ole’ Spano’s can easily afford a big name and maybe just put a little less in his already overflowing bank accounts.
You wanna win a Super Bowl? Go spend the money and get the best out there to get the job done. Swallow your ego and make a move. This organization has had way too many failures and heartbreak, it’s time to break the cycle and for once do something for your loyal fans.
