Depth is young, mostly unknown in NFL. Forcing the quick pass is always an advantage if the DC has his LBs, DBs prepared.
Minter is the question. Another Staley? Maybe but I doubt it. I think Harbaugh knows his staff and chose well. If so he knows what the QBs choices are in less than 2 seconds and has his people in place.

We drafted two DBs ahead of him and signed 5 UDFA DBs among the 20 UDFAs Morris-Brash was a part of.

The Chargers think they found a guy that will make the club, perhaps even become impactful, and it only cost them 10K to find out. If he is what they hope for, a tad under 1 Mil per year is cheap. If he isn't, he won't see the start of the regular season.

I would argue we have the best Edge group in the NFL, 3 of them are Stars. Is Brash good enough to displace Rumph ? I think he may be, so that's an improvement in depth.

Not everyone is a Brady. Shortening the time QB's have to throw is a goal the bolts need to improve on. It is what hurt out secondary the most IMO.

When looking at the FA signings, it feels like a bunch of reclamation projects. Hoping some prove to be solid, but still going to stick with my belief that this year, 2024, is just about cleaning up the Cap issues. Next year, 2025, is going to be the year of expectations....

Two more FA's signed on to the Harbaugh belief train. A safety (ex Raven) and a speedster WR.... Jefferson is more an on-field coach for the coming training camp IMO. I have doubts that he makes the 53. The IPP WR doesn't count against roster numbers for two years.

Pass rush is a major focus on this Chargers D, as it should be with the personnel we have. It was recently pointed out that the scoring D was 28th on avg during Herbert's career thus far. Top 10 is doable in 2024.

Rumph, Farmer, Collins, Brash, Jackson, Mason, Shelby, Jackson need to bring their A game in TC.
Minter wants five starters he can rotate. Have fresh legs at crunch time, if it gets there.

Still not exactly a vote of confidence in JT or AJ |
