Our defense was FIRE. Like Rams to slaughter. Seems like there is very little complimentary comments about the Charger offence.....why is that? Perhaps the defences are just ahead of the offences at this point, eh Rams OL was missing two starters, one of which was LOT, so Chargers edge feasted.....but....

Two things are true: Stick is a quality backup (but that is based on the backup role—he is not a starting-caliber player). The Chargers cannot and would not win many games with Stick. Those two things don't jive. Backups aren’t going to win many games.

Those two things don't jive. Backups aren’t going to win many games. Charlie Batch posted back-to-back winning records as the Lions' starter in 1999 and 2000, coming off the bench in '99 to lead them to the playoffs and helping them to the postseason precipice in 2000. But an 0-12 Detroit start in '01 led to Batch's release and preceded one of the longest backup-QB runs in NFL history. Batch signed with the Steelers in 2002 and stayed for 11 seasons, playing until age 38. The Pennsylvania native signed seven Steelers contracts, overcame numerous challenges to his QB2 role and led Pittsburgh to six wins in nine starts — including a 2-0 mark for a 2005 team that needed both wins to allow a Super Bowl march. Charlie Batch played 12 seasons for the Steelers and Lions. He threw for 11,085 yards and 61 touchdowns. I think he was 25-30. But when the Steelfaces needed him, he usually delivered. He was a really good back up for a long time.

Stick has not Stick played 4 games with a really bad Chargers team. I guarantee that he's not bad enough to drag this defense down every game or the rushing offense. We'd win games with him. But Herbert IS better. He's better than 90% of starting NFL QBs. So we'll just start Herbert instead. Taking a couple weeks off practice won't destroy Justin.

Ours aren't. Is it time to go QB shopping ? No. There isn’t any in the market better than Stick. I would take Ryan Tannehill.

Pretty certain you are referring to your projected team defence and rushing offence for 2024.....because to date they have done nothing. It is all Harbaugh Hope at this point......

No. There isn’t any in the market better than Stick. I would take Ryan Tannehill. Tannehill cost ? Probably considerably more than Stick. Regardless, lose Herbert for significant number of games and the season is toast.
