So in a very short time the rookies will be showing up, then a week (?) later the veteran players report.
With a new HC in Harbaugh, and both OC and DC new, we should see significant changes.
What are you all looking forward to seeing improve?
For me, I want to see the OL develop that attitude Harbaugh talks about. 'Run you ask.....yes we are going to run the ball whenever we want. You are going to beg us to stop by bringing everybody to the line, then Herbert is going to put the dagger in your proverbial heart!'
I think the OL can bring it, but I worry about the RB's.....they are the weakness I believe.
What about you all?

No point in worrying about it beyond acquiring depth which we have. I think Vidal could be a star. We know JK and Gus can be.

I am curious to see the discipline of them sticking with the run or if they too quickly fire up the JH Ferrari. These coaches have never had a QB like JH.

So true, predicting the future is a futile effort. That said, always wise to have plan 'B' ready to go. Worry is probably a poor choice of word on my part. When I look at the RB group, I see 'hope for the best' in a large dose. If Harbaugh can get a top five OL group, it will go a long way towards mitigating the challenge from that RB group. Fingers crossed, and we will see how it a ends up.

You always attack their weaknesses and do what you do best to keep them off balance. Sometimes its your best against their best. The one area the bolts have not had the best as been the run game. Not since LT. That been a long time.

One thing I'll say right now though, I have a bad feeling about Slater. I don't know why I just do... He may have been a one year wonder and its another reason we drafted Alt so high. I hope I'm wrong but we'll see...

If the OL isn't that dominant attitude road grader group.....then this 'pray to the Gods' group of RB's is going to be a problem. TE is sketch as well.....WR has zero star talent......which doesn't mean Harbaugh doesn't create five new all-pro players....but might be wise to wait and see the early results. The defence can't have been all scheme, so maybe they had quit on Staley, and Harbaugh/Minter believe in the talent they have on roster....but might be wise....^ Give me a 3-14 season, smoking draft, and a ton of money for free agency.....2025 is the year for expectations.

No, you do not understand....3-14 is not what I expect will happen, it is what would be best long view. I expect a middle record, 9-8, or 8-9, or perhaps a bounce goes their way getting a 10-7, but those bounces might go against and 7-10....but drafting middle of the pack, which is not what you want. Drafting in the middle locks you into perpetual not good, not bad, just average. Harbaugh might get everybody to play above their talent level in year one, producing a PO club, which might get a win or two. That is the problem though, as this club lacks talent across the roster, and drafting late as PO clubs do will not fix that. Of course the only hope would be having a ton of available cap space for 2025, which they should....but it is easy to get burned in free agency. I have zero worries about Herbert.....he will lift a championship trophy.
