Lynn is heading into his third season. Kinks should be out. What do you expect to see out of him in 2019?
Today he said the Chargers wore down and weren’t playing their best football at the end of the season. His plan is to get the veterans more rest in 2019. He named Pouncey, Rivers, and thinks Gordon needs to take a break during the off season.

I put the blame on AL - he had backups for the OL and never played them. Perhaps he learned a lesson from last year? Sounds like it.

I just don't see him saying "yes coach, that's what I wanted too." If he stays cleaner in the pocket, he'll have enough to finish. I do the Bolts rotating Gordon though. Not just with Ekler. The bolts will need that down hill pounder doing more of the work.

Lynn has learned and adjusted each year so I see no reason he won't this year.

I don't know the last time I felt this good about a Chargers coach. I wasn't around for Gillman or Coryell, Marty was great until the playoffs....I kind of miss the Gleam. There were a bunch of other idiots that I won't even bother listing.
I think this is the best I have felt about the Chargers coaching situation since Bobby Ross.....WOW, that is a LONG time ago!

Pouncy looked spent, so getting him rest would be smart...... Rivers looked fine, and having Rivers in with the new OC (Quiz I would think) was in would be great for building a little 'chemistry' that Lynn loves so much......

Must win games at the end of the season. Going up against a very physical team in the Wild Card game undermanned. It was that more than the brilliance of Belicheat that did us in. Charger fans need need to show up and support their team in 2019. I don’t believe any major championship has ever been won by a team with such a pathetic fan base. Dean.

I thought it was obvious that the team wore down. Insufficient quality at LB, DT depth and being a wildcard team were a part of it. Rotating in some OL more often sounds like a good idea, when the game is going well on the scoreboard. That works on two fronts, getting more rest for vet starters, more experience for backups.

Absolutely need to step it up! They are cutting back season tickets 15%, but a lot more needs to be done. As for any major championship never being won in a major sport by such a pathetic fan base, check out the 2003 Florida Marlins who beat the #1 in attendance and revenues NY Yankees in the World Series. www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/MLB/2003-misc.shtml

IIRC, the front office rewarded the players and fans with a fire sale right after.
