To be fair to the Bears, the NFL didn't start having 16 game regular seasons until 1978. The NFL had 14 game regular seasons from 1961-1978, and prior to that they had 12 game regular seasons. But still, the Bears have been a QB churning machine for a long, long time. McMahon was always getting dinged up (both on and off the field) over the course of his career.

Even with that said, the Bears have never had a QB start every game two season in a row......in a hundred years. The Wiki link you posted shows Bob Avellini started all 14 games in 1976 & 1977. Rivers showed some frustration close to the end of the game yesterday when he lined up and wanted to go quickly but the ref was standing over the center. He knew the play wouldn’t go but called the snap anyway.

I am beginning to wonder whether PR will be back next year. He is not his usual upbeat self this season. Doesn't seem to be having any fun. Neither am I.

Would you be happy if you took each snap and 6 Greek Mythology giants out of an old Sinbad movie was in your wheelhouse trying to take your head off to make their soup for the day with ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! (That was pretty good, we are even playing the Titans this week. HA)
