Honestly, I wouldn’t mind Durant (and Irving) going there, as much as I would hate seeing Durant : a) stay put, b) joining Irving with the Celtics or c) either of them going to the Lakers. The Knicks have had limited success, so while I hate the thought of an NYC based team getting more sports Championships, the Knicks at least are worlds apart from the Yankees. The last thing the league needs is more of the same teams winning the championships all the time, and if the Knicks were to win some in the future it would actually be something different. While the Celtics glory has been limited the past 30 years, I’m REALLY getting fed up with Boston winning sports championships in general. While this opinion probably won’t be the most popular amongst this crowd, I am really glad the Anthony Davis trade to the Lakers didn’t happen. I had no issues with LeBron going there, but I don’t wanna see another “Superteam” out there. 29 other teams would kill for LeBron, so either make something happen with him or get outta the way. I would love to see the Knicks become successful with homegrown talent through the draft not by becoming yet another "Superteam". I LOVE that Anthony Davis wasn't traded to the Lakers....it was so much fun watching LA offer their entire team for him and it still wasn't enough. The implosion by the team after every player feeling like they were put on the trading block is priceless. That Laker clown show was ridiculous. You can get away with the hey it’s a business be a professional when it’s 1 maybe 2 guys who are on the block and it falls thru. When it is literally every guy there’s no way to come back from it.

It is amazing to see so many FAs expected to go to the Knicks year after year and it never happens. Seeing the Knicks with the highest ticket prices in the NBA and decades of average basketball is fun....I hope nobody ever goes there. Congrats to LeBrain for passing Jordan on the all time scoring list, and finding a way to add another loss while doing so.

Durant went from one of my favorite guys to root for in OKC to my top 5 list of players you want to see fail.

If if I find out that is the case, I’ll get Woodeye to issue you a warning...
