No doubt King would qualify as a value pick, but as far as a 'home run' pick.....nope. The rest of the NFL says 'Desmond who?'........ Bosa is a home run by any standards. And when you have the third pick you have to hit a home run I would tend to agree, but Bosa seems to not elevate his game when challenged, making him a bit invisible. I like him, liked he was the pick at 3rd overall, but not too certain I call him a 'homerun' pick just yet. Double team KA, still see plenty of catches...... DJ is always a target, yet he finds a way...... Rivers, KA and DJ are the stars of this club.

Let me help you transition from hockey here: Getting Desmond King in the 5th Round is a Grand Slam Home Run. No doubt King would qualify as a value pick, but as far as a 'home run' pick.....nope. The rest of the NFL says 'Desmond who?'........ Ridiculous. 5TH ROUND  I can stop there. 2018 DOUBLE Pro Bowl selection. Double. As a Corner and Kick Returner. No out missing season's with foot surgeries. That alone makes him gold for us. Did you know he has 2.5 times the sacks Melvin Ingram does and half of Bosa's playing Slot Corner ?? He's 14th in the league for returning currently, but there are 4 guys over him that have 0 Kickoff Returns. He is a dual threat football player that lays it on the field every single week for us. We are damn lucky to have him out of the 5th Round.

In other words, I would pick James over Bosa.

I think if you are looking for a Gates to say King is elite, then to me you are not considering the expected talent level fairly.
