Welcome Justin Herbert! Plenty for you to soak in and learn before taking the reigns and leading this team to victory, ala the Pat Mahommes plan of watching in year one before starting.
With this offense, you're going to do great! The talent on this team from Ekeler, Allen, Henry, Williams and others will make your fantasy stats light up like a video game! But with the Chargers defense, you won't have to try to overdo it- play it smart and we'll be in games and win games!

When do you think he plays? Unless TT gets killed by the oline, I think Herbert sits at least a year. If TT does get killed by the oline, god help Herbert...

I believe he has the intellect, physical traits, and leadership characteristics that can make for an excellent NFL quarterback if he works hard, stays focused, maintains his integrity and health, and remains tenaciously committed to the game and his team.

I think the whole reason Herbert was drafted is because EVERY rookie quarterback should sit his first year. I called it the Pat Mahommes Plan because he sat year one and exploded in years two and three. In a copycat league, everyone will follow that strategy, so I see Herbert sitting all year, with maybe an appearance here and there especially late in the season.

I THINK our 6th pick is starting earlier than we think. Supporting your argument, I see a TON of Alex Smith in Tyrod Taylor. Both are consummate game managers. Great comparison scenario on your part.

My guess is that Justin will beat Rivers' career total rushing yards in four seasons. Perhaps two if the OL is not fixed.
