Does that apply to the Mahomes types ? No. No it doesn't. sure it does. QB is paid to play, not determine who else is in the tool box. Nor does it benefit him to throw the rest of the team under the bus. use em up, then throw them away. at some point even mahommes will be. His pay IS going to determine that. Your post speaks of working within a 130 million dollar budget. Do you realize how much of that Butterfly is going to get ?? If we are talking 40-45 mil, hell use ME up and throw away !?!?!?!?! There's not enough to pay them all, and he's the last to go.

The league MVP was 14-2 Lamar Jackson. Keep asking I have lots of names.......................... Jackson has a ways to go before he is at that level. I am not making comparisons at this point, but I remember when RGIII was the future of NFL quarterbacking. Same goes with Kaep. We’ll see how Jackson develops as a pocket passer as defenses continue to force him to beat them with his arm and containing him to the pocket. Unlike Mahomes, Jackson has not displayed consistent accuracy nor the ability to beat you from the pocket. Joe,......seriously ? I mean really ? The League's MVP, and we are trying pocket passer talk ? "Ravens’ Lamar Jackson becomes only NFL player with 3,000 pass yards and 1,000 rushing yards in single season." That is EVER by the way. The guy is phenomenal. Any team would love to have him, perhaps especially ours.

Did you miss me jim ? Tell the class the truth now. You and woodeye are the Oline watcher outers...........Is there anything that can improve Feeney ? Campen is a good coach. Is this enough ? Yes.
Campen will help. Bulaga, Turner and healthy Pouncey will help. Feeney can be improved. Physically and level of desire are good, he needs to be more consistent with his reads & technique.
More zone may work for him.
Enough is a moving target. Enough to be better than 2019 as a unit? Absolutely. Enough to make a successful postseason run? Not by themselves. They will need a lot of help from a QB, Pep Hamilton , Steichen and the rest of the offense.
What role does Lamp have in this ?

The last I heard, the QB is unemployed. Let me know which team he’s holding over the barrel right now, and he’s a guy who did largely master the tools of his position As for the player entering his third year in the league who still hasn’t come close to mastering the tools of the QB position: yeah, really. I’ll wait before pronouncing him king. Unlike Mahomes and Newton, Lamar is a player who relies almost entirely upon his running ability.

What role does Lamp have in this ? I thought the Lamp was busted. Interesting question though. His name just does not come up that often. Looking more like depth.

What role does Lamp have in this ? I don't think anyone knows until the OL gets into grass drills & practices with Campen. Currently he projects as G/T depth --but--he could IR again & be cut --or--just maybe show up as a healthy, fit, fireball of attitude, talent & effort that has to be played. ??

I wonder if he has a french vanilla flavor out............................................ No. GM's select players. BUT bigshots can have a say. Blah blah was my TE in college, how about you sign him ? etc. I will tell you this: if there is a major problem with another player, Mr. Bigshot is going to win the war.

Cam is king - and unemployed. Beyond laughable if you truly believe that Lamar Jackson's opinion has ANY sway regarding Ravens personnel at this stage in time. Three-to-four years from now after he proves it again ... and again? Then maybe. Let's see him prove something beyond being a Michael Vick.

I haven't. Just curious, is it injuries, team cancer, what the hell is the story there ?
