How is league MVP at age 26 from a few short years ago’s demandability these days? The last I heard, the QB is unemployed. Let me know which team he’s holding over the barrel right now, and he’s a guy who did largely master the tools of his position As for the player entering his third year in the league who still hasn’t come close to mastering the tools of the QB position: yeah, really. I’ll wait before pronouncing him king. Unlike Mahomes and Newton, Lamar is a player who relies almost entirely upon his running ability. You are late. The league crowned him MVP. Sorry. Superbowl MVP is more impressive

For me, Jackson needs a Superbowl appearance minimum to not be compared with Vick and RGIII but to be compared with Mahomes and Wilson. But back to the original discussion... Jackson will get paid, he wouldn't dicatate who I have in my locker room as a GM or HC but he is a valuable player that will get paid. Jackson has freakish talent... But Mahomes has freakish generational talent.

Also, if that does happen, would that be good or bad for the rook? I seriously doubt our O-line improves over last year....that could get the young QB killed. Looks like a few more years of just watching the Defense like some of the old Seau years. You knew we’d lose, but still tune in to watch him light someone up.

You don't believe that Pouncey at center, Trae Turner at right guard and Bulaga at right tackle is a massive upgrade over what we saw for the majority of 2019? As for the left side, Okung missed the first half the season at left tackle and dealt with a groin injury for a majority of the second half of the season, so we're not downgrading there either. May not be upgrading in 2020, but definitely not downgrading. Feeney ain't much at left guard, but he's much better there than at center. IMO The oline will be improved: how much depends upon Pipkins' development (they did not want to play him last year, but they were forced to do so) along with the addition of Campen as oline coach and the implementation of his zone blocking scheme.

I hope there is improvement, but I seriously doubt there will be enough to have a winning record. Even if there is some improvement remember, Tyrod and a Rookie RB/Eckeler combo are back there. Not a winning formula...THIS year.

All I ask is they TRY, and they did. Those ARE improvement efforts by Telesco. They are TRYING. All I care about. Where we were, we could only go up.

The goalie has Herbert starting week one. I heard an in-depth game by game breakdown on Foxsports radio. The host said week 13, at home against New England, and we would be 6-5 when it happened. My reaction was "what kind of sick mind would start their rookie QB against the mind of Belichick ??" I THINK the host went on to say that there is some freak stat that Belichick of course is successful against rookie QB's AT HOME. But he's not so much on the road. I like freak stats. I tend to think its sooner than later. Week 4-5 something like that. I really have dismissed the "next year" talk. It just doesn't work that way anymore.

The ONLY way Herbert plays this season is if TT gets injured. Bank on it! Remember this post and refer to it next year when I am right.

Quessenberry + Schofield + Tevi
=
Pouncey + Turner + Bulaga
They might as well fold the tent, commence with firings in the front office & coaching staff, and start building the roster from scratch. What a waste of $$$!!
