Opinions are all over the place. The goalie has Herbert starting week one. I heard an in-depth game by game breakdown on Foxsports radio. The host said week 13, at home against New England, and we would be 6-5 when it happened. My reaction was "what kind of sick mind would start their rookie QB against the mind of Belichick ??" I THINK the host went on to say that there is some freak stat that Belichick of course is successful against rookie QB's AT HOME. But he's not so much on the road. I like freak stats. I tend to think its sooner than later. Week 4-5 something like that. I really have dismissed the "next year" talk. It just doesn't work that way anymore. The ONLY way Herbert plays this season is if TT gets injured. Bank on it! Remember this post and refer to it next year when I am right. Good enough. Solid take. Like the bold position.

I only say that because its Lynn. Lynn and TT have that history and I think Lynn wants to prove he can win with his guy.

Lynn would be wise to not play 'his guy' games and just focus on winning. TT best hope Herbert is so much better than any other QB on roster......failure with the 6th overall pick can get you fired.

You don't believe that Pouncey at center, Trae Turner at right guard and Bulaga at right tackle is a massive upgrade over what we saw for the majority of 2019? As for the left side, Okung missed the first half the season at left tackle and dealt with a groin injury for a majority of the second half of the season, so we're not downgrading there either. May not be upgrading in 2020, but definitely not downgrading. Feeney ain't much at left guard, but he's much better there than at center. IMO The oline will be improved: how much depends upon Pipkins' development (they did not want to play him last year, but they were forced to do so) along with the addition of Campen as oline coach and the implementation of his zone blocking scheme. no, I don’t. I hope there is improvement, but I seriously doubt there will be enough to have a winning record. Even if there is some improvement remember, Tyrod and a Rookie RB/Eckeler combo are back there. Not a winning formula...THIS year. There will be significantly fewer QB pressures in the pocket, greater run success based on R side OL talent, mobile QB, blocking scheme, playcall changes. Combined with our top 5 or better defense, half our schedule against weak teams, LAC will have a .500+ record. Should make the post-season. Barring another IR disaster the 2020 LAC defense will be elite.

Looks like Weeks 1 & 4 of the preseason will be scrapped. That should be $280 coming back my way since the home game against the Cowboys will be scrapped (if true):

0 Wins in 2020? JJ Watt is saying that if he's required to wear a face covering on the field, he probably won't play. The NFLPA has some rumbling going on about what they want in an "adjusted" season. Everybody, owners, players, sponsors, etc had better get a handle on their "needs" or they may kill their enormous golden egg laying goose. If a majority of fans feel betrayed, they'll need to find something else to do with their time & resources.
We'll play. LAC 10 W's.

At this point I hope they skip 2020 and stay healthy until there’s a vaccine. Also, the millions of fans.

I’d imagine that 40-60% would give people enough confidence to return to some kind of normal. I agree that we’ll likely never fully control it, and there will be others.

We're making some very drastic life changes for a virus that we'll likely never be able to fully control and a majority of people recover from. Good question. It's very probable that covid-19 will stick around and that some people will become ill, some will die. The numbers are highly speculative. So far no one has been 100% correct @ specifics. Generally if you're school age & otherwise healthy, your risk is very low. If you are 70+, you are high risk. Healthy 25 - 60 yo's are at low-moderate risk if there are no other health factors amd will probably be OK with physical distancing, hand washing, wear a mask when in the presence of other than immediate family, avoid large indoor gatherings.
We're going to have to learn how to live with covid-19. Total lock downs may buy time for researchers but at what cost? It seems probable that the America we expected to raise our children in will have ceased to exist. Most at risk are community businesses and functions and what life used to be like.

Its not sustainable and both sides of the political isle know it... Personally I'm on the Thanos bandwagon, we can't shut down the country and rewrite the Constitution for less than 2% of the population. Cases are skyrocketing, deaths are down, and even Disney is reopening. Its time for sports... Wear your mask and hope for the best.
