Does Canada have a bologna version ? Like Canadian Bacon ?? Ring Bologna......but I would not let you eat it, much less actually eat it myself. Think TT goes after JJ Watt? If you let Ingram go for him it would be an upgrade.

That's the big questions alright. HH and MW gets tricky. I say you CAN lose one, but not both of them. I told you I want Schuster. Could you imagine Herbert's targets being Allen, Schuster, Henry, Mike Williams, and Ekeler ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Holy hell that's powerful.

Holy hell that's powerful. They retained coach Dan Shamash who 'has primarily worked with the tight end position' and brought in a new Sammy-small-school college coach for the WR. In other words, Staley likes the TE group and wants change at WR.

Initially I don’t think Staley will have much say, I think the reason they brought in a young guy like that is probably because he is not established enough to make calls on personnel. He’s only been in the league a handful of years and I doubt he feels he has the leverage at this point to push it. Once he’s had some success and established himself, THEN that dynamic will change, but he has to win first. Because of all that I think TT is going to be scrutinized more over the next couple of years than he has in the rest of the time he’s been with the Chargers. How well he drafts, his decisions on who gets extended, who gets to walk, and who they bring in via FA, ALL of that evaluation process is going to be amplified because of the window of opportunity that Herbert represents.

Staley hiring a new WR's coach could mean many things. I doubt it means Staley wants TT to move MW. Your second paragraph is interesting......I am thinking TT is really hoping J Spanos' decisions are correct. LOL I get that TT is the face of club decisions, but reality is J Spanos hangs over much of the GM duties. TT is not running around with endless autonomy on decisions.

Dean Spanos made the decision on Staley. After all this "cutting edge" stuff, I can't see Dean letting him be excluded from personnel decisions. Staley & co are loading up for those decisions today. What a waste of time & money if they don't listen to him now.

Posted this prediction a while back and would love to have J.J. Watt in a #99 Bolts uni...Joey & JJ the new bookends (WOW)! Few thoughts: a) Does J.J. want to go play with his bros and that Steelers D? b) Would Derek Watt say enough bad things about Bolts ownership for him to pass on joining our D? c) Are his college ties strong enough to head to Packers--Rodgers will take that team to the playoffs again? d) Would he consider KC or TB as best options to get ring? What say you? Also, future "breaking news"...if not J.J. Watt, Von Miller will become an option (bold prediction) to join our Bolts D.

What a waste of time & money if they don't listen to him now. Truth is none of us know unless one of you guys is in the building listening to conversations and sitting in on meetings. It’s the honeymoon period! Everyone is collaborating, everyone is getting along, and there is no power struggle, YET;) Positive vibes man! How much is dean still involved? How much is John involved, does AG weigh in? Does TT just go along to save his job? Does TT call the shots? We don’t know, but if history is any indication, the family has always taken a heavy hand in decisions in years past, I can’t imagine that changing all of a sudden. once the first personnel moves start happening we’ll have a clearer picture of how much influence Staley truly has. In support of those that think he’ll be heavily involved, so far it seems he’s had a considerable amount of decision making ability in respect to assembling his staff. Maybe that carries over to the players too. I’ve always thought the best teams were put together when everyone involved compromised and worked together but there have been some exceptions when a team came together despite disfunction within the organization (85 bears). I think checks and balances are good. so a coach shouldn’t run loose and unchecked (O’brien Houston texans) and a front office shouldn’t just dictate to a coach (philly).

A.While I could see him wanting to join his brothers in Pittsburg they are in cap hell and most likely will need to lets a few good pieces leave (Villanueva, JuJu) besides having Big Ben take a good sized paycut. B. Being a business I can't see Derek's opinion mattering much (more problem in Calif/LA tax rates) C. Packers are where I expect him to go and could give him just as much of a chance at a ring as KC & Tampa due to their cap losses.

My take on Hunter Henry is he is great at getting open, blocking, and catching the football. Once he catches the football, his skills at "yards after the catch" is minimal. When is the last time you saw HH running freely down the field for a big gain? Compare that to Kelce and Kittle!

When is the last time you saw HH running freely down the field for a big gain? Compare that to Kelce and Kittle! I think it’s unfair to compare HH to two of the best that have ever played the position. Kittle and Kelce are up there with Winslow, Gates, Bronk, Sharpe, Witten, Gonzalez, Christensen, Newsome, Mackey, Dikta, Coates, etc...I’m sure I’ve left out a few greats. At any one point in time in NFL history there’s only been 2-3 of those types of players active in the entire league! The way I compare Hunter is how does he look compared to the rest of the guys playing today? I honestly think he’s “best of the rest” or one of the top guys in that group, so the question for the organization is if they think that type of player is worth the 10-12 mill a year that the market is going to demand?
