You guys did our owners promise him the job if Staley does not get it done? He’s been at 3 games in a row since that chargers rumor was told to Jason la over at NFL network

Holy shit go to the last minute this is new TODAY from Mike this is brand new opinion and he’s mentioned again it is obviously the best job available minus the ownership group. But SP going to all our games is definitely a sign he is interested. If it is going to happen my guess is the leg work is already being done.
I like Staley but I want to win more than I like him.

I just want to say when Marty was coach it was much more fun being a fan. I used to yell at 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Certainly not as much as I yell at my TV now.
Is Sean Payton the answer? I don't know but bring him in now please.
That's really the answer isn't it. Allow me to expand on your post. All we want is what we haven't had in years. WE WANT OUR TEAM READY TO PLAY EVERY SUNDAY !!!!!!!! If we lose, then we lose. But just give us a fighting chance to root for something ! Currently its like a freak show out there. Win a Denver game with a washed up quarterback, then turn around and get trashed at home by a team that is supposed to be rebuilding ?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Talk about outcoached ! Pete Carroll just bitch slapped Staley. I'll tell you why I have pimped Sean Payton. Sure he won a SB, but he always had his team ready to play on Sunday. Marty Style.

I'm just tired of rookie head coaches... Ain't that the truth. And this one even looks like he should still have a paper route.

In an effort to check up on this claim, I dug into the archives to do some due diligence, and it turns out you were actually the 2nd. Only a few hours behind Captain Obvious to be exact. So feel free to pat yourself on the back for that one, you deserve it ! The Mods are famous for changing time stamps on here. What was the date on that. I can use it to brag some more. Or are you still giving Staley 9 more years ? quit lettin the cat out the bag. its hard enough herding cats. it can crap in your shoes...

My guess is Payton goes to Denver where he will dominate the Chargers twice a year. We will be stuck with Staley.

I feel like this Sean Payton stuff is just a fans dream and the media is fueling it for clicks... Its a distraction, but here's to hoping some of it is true.

Staley somehow is still winning games, so he wont be going anywhere. They will chalk it up to how many injuries this team experienced. But who knows, I never thought any NFL team would fire a coach that went 14-2, but the Chargers sure did.

But who knows, I never thought any NFL team would fire a coach that went 14-2, but the Chargers sure did. That 14-2 Coach lost his star defensive coordinator, who made him look really good. The best replacement he could come up with his brother. We can’t just have people getting jobs in this organization, because of their last name.
Remind me where that 14-2 Coach end up afterwards. So funny to read this, Dean. John Spanos was named President of Football Operations for the Chargers in May 2015. He oversees all of the team's football operations, including player personnel, coaching, player finance and the salary cap, medical, equipment, video, player engagement and security. He also represents the team at League and Management Council meetings.

Sean Peyton is live with the manning brothers and the first thing I heard was
“Sean what are some similar things you seen about Lamar?
Sean: 1st thing that’s familiar is, he’s about to be a free agent and I’m about to be a free agent”
Dude is chopping at the bit
