A longtime NFL personnel executive told Jason La Canfora of the Washington Post that he believes former New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton "really wants" to coach Justin Herbert and the Chargers: “[Dean] Spanos doesn’t like to pay his coaches, but once your quarterback starts making $50 million a year, you’re really going to be cheap about your head coach? This is interesting. but I must say everything we want from this team is still possible. I would love for Staley to learn and to take us to the promised land.
lets see how we do after the bye, if it is a dumpster fire and we miss the playoffs then for sure bring in Sean Payton. Right now we ride with Staley.

In an effort to check up on this claim, I dug into the archives to do some due diligence, and it turns out you were actually the 2nd. Only a few hours behind Captain Obvious to be exact. I just want to say when Marty was coach it was much more fun being a fan. I used to yell at 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Certainly not as much as I yell at my TV now.
Is Sean Payton the answer? I don't know but bring him in now please.
