Lakers v Nuggets in western conference finals.
It’s a beautiful thing when a team exceeds expectations and the Lakers have done that. In January it was doubtful they’d even make the playoffs let alone advance to the conference finals and dethrone the defending world champs. But here they are. Denver is the #1 seed and has been there at the top all season. Jokic is an amazing player and they have a solid supporting cast. Can Lebron continue to defy age?

It is a nice thing, but nicer when it’s not a Team with more Titles than most can only dream of. Kinda like the Yankees in Baseball, it would be hard to get too excited (as a non-fan of that Team) to see them do something like that. But on to another beautiful thing….No title for Embiid, Harden or the fickle fans of Philadelphia again.

I’m not happy for the Celtics, I’m just glad they knocked off the Philadelphia Floppers (in the 2nd Round). I would have taken that from ANY Team. I don’t want to see the Celtics go any further (but they will)…

They just couldn’t give it to Jokic 3 straight years.

Embiid is trash. If you just look at those numbers and never watch him play, you might draw the conclusion that he’s a dominant Shaq-like player, but that’s far from the case. He is a notorious flopper, who scores a 35-40% of his points by free throws that he shouldn’t even get.
He can win the regular season MVP and scoring title for the next 100 years, but come playoff time the safest bet you can ever make is that he’ll become a 7’ walking excuse who won’t ever get the job done. He’s never even been to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Him and Harden couldn’t possibly be more fit to be each other’s teammates, and there is no more fit of a place for them than Philadelphia.

^^something bad happened to chopper31 in Philly Haha, no I have no issues with the City itself, I just don’t respect their sports fans. They are over the top obnoxious when things are going well (regular season) and the first ones pushing children & old ladies out of the way to grab the life boats, at the first sign of adversity. What I actually wish upon them is for their Team to achieve the greatest comeback in history at a home game, because none of them will be around to see it. As soon as they are down by 15 it’s a mass exodus of the arena…

Good for the Spurs to get Wenbenyama. He goes to a stable club with a HOF coach.

Good for the Spurs to get Wenbenyama. He goes to a stable club with a HOF coach. Is Pop really worth mentioning in the same sentence as this kid ? He is turning 75 years old next year, so his imprint will be very limited. In fact, I’d say that following 4 straight years of coming up short of 35 wins, his retirement is overdue. The longer he sticks around, the longer it takes for the Spurs to get started on their next era…

Pop is the Diane Feinstein of NBA coaches.

He’s a guy who can get something out of a roster that is ready to win now, not a guy who will build you a winner. I don’t think his strategy of finding 5 guys on the roster that he likes and playing them for 40+ Minutes throughout the regular season fits with the Spurs culture either. Nurse could possibly succeed in Milwaukee, but he’s not a guy I’d want to kickstart a new era starting from the bottom…

Surprising what the Heat is doing to the Celtics in Boston.
