It’s a lock. History on Monday Haha, definitely not a lock, but I sure as hell wouldn’t bet in Miami’s favor. Regardless of which way it goes, there will be some history. Either the 1st ever 0-3 comeback, or only the 2nd time a #8 seed makes the Finals (and first time since the play-in Tournament was introduced). As I said a few days ago, it should make Heat fans nervous if Butler is the main reason why they have been overachieving, because you aren’t going to get a masterpiece from him every night. The past few years Game 7’s have been mostly disappointing, being 20 or so points apart in a few cases. Hopefully this one will be different, and come down to the wire. It’s no surprise that last night’s final seconds featured Butler & Derrick White, as they are both near the very top of the NBA when it comes to clutch players. It’d be great to see something similar for Game 7, but I have a feeling that was our Game 7 type moment (and truthfully that will be very hard to top as well). Meanwhile the Nuggets are sitting out in the rain, building up a heavy coat of rust… Boston figured Jimmy out and stopped biting on the fakes and doubling him at times. Like I said before their roster is superior to Miami’s and now that Marcus Smart entered the series it’s gotten much harder for the Heat. Still, they almost blew game 6 in the last 2 minutes after having the game in hand. They’ll likely shoot much better from 3 in Boston and this could be a blow out.

Celtics could do something that has never been done before in the NBA coming back from an 0-3 hole. If they win in Miami on Saturday it’s a lock. Interesting series because if you go down the rosters the Celtics are better at almost every position. Jimmy Butler is really the only guy on the Heat that might be better than his counterpart but that’s close if it’s between he and Tatum. The UDFA Heat story was a good one but they’ve wilts in games 4 and 5. History in the making It’s a lock. History on Monday Reverse mojo. This is how it’s done young people. Couldn’t happen to a better fan base and team than the despised Boston Celtics!

Barkley held nothing back talking about Boston after the game, he was brutally honest. For someone that knows jack about the Celtics and hasn't seriously watched the NBA in years, the Celtics looked horrible and I had no idea who the stars were.

Caleb Martin for the Heat averaged 9 points during the season and close to 20 during this series. Big time step up. Made every big shot. Really the hero of the series for the Heat. As the TNT guys said he had a good case to be MVP of the series. Jaylen Brown turned into the dog of game 7 for Boston. Couldn’t handle the ball or shoot. Really shows the great thing about sports. You just never know

Miami is +310 to win the series. Denver looks to be strong, but put up 100 to win 310 ?
Miami is the value play here. I had to take it.

The East was overall the stronger conference this year. We shall see.

Interesting game 1 in that my guy Caleb Martin was a complete no show, Strus was o-get and Himmy Buckets had a sub par game. But it wasn’t a blow out because the Heat don’t quit.
Meanwhile Jokic and Murray continued to show up for the Nuggets.
We’ll see

Heat don’t quit. Impressive game 2 win. Shot 50% from 3. Bam is having a good series and Vincent, Robinson and Strus all played well. Knotted 1-1 heading back to Miami
