Here ya go Chopper31. Tell us all about the Raptors. They’re still your team, right?
Seems like the season just ended but 2022/23 is underway. Zion is back with NO who did very well last season without him. Good young squad. The Celtics suspended their coach for the year for what? Still not sure. Ben Simmons is back playing for the nets and what happened to that guy. Donovan Mitchell on the Cabs now. Paolo Banchero looks like a good pick at #1.
And yes, Westbrook went 0-11 in the Lakers home opener a day after Lebron said the team couldn’t shoot. Gonna be a long season for the lakeshow. Lebron will pass Kareem as the NBA’s all time leading scorer soon. He is a marvel of modern science at 38. Will the clippers finally get over the hump? Kawhi is back and they added John Wall.
Let’s see how it develops

I love my Raptors !
Lots of continuity from last year, and I think their opener will be a good indicator of what to expect this year, that being nearly 20 points per game from all 5 of their starters.
They have some solid guys coming off the bench as well (Boucher, Young, Porter Jr, Achiuwa) and seeing how Rookie Koloko pans out will be interesting.
It’s gonna be another fun season to watch…

Yeah I’m familiar with that hotel, I stayed there in January ‘19. It was perfectly located, and the indoor tunnel system connected right to the Arena, so I went there in a long sleeved t-shirt & jersey while most people were walking in with their big bulky Winter Coats (and had to hold them at their seats). If I were to ever stay Downtown again, that place would be at the top of the list…

How are u doing?

How are u doing? 1). Raptors…untimely injuries & tough part of the schedule. The fanbase is annoying as hell: “Blow it up”, “Tank for [fill in the blank]”, etc. Its a long ass season, you just gotta have patience. 2). I’ll never be banned from Coaching, I am a gentleman, a scholar and a freakin’ legend. I even convinced all of the parents to do a week long tournament in Sandusky Ohio this Summer ! 3). I’m good ! Never lost power, and as of today I’m seeing grass throughout my yard. I’ve been swamped at work as a result of the storm though (my last day off was Dec 18th), but finally tomorrow we’ll get a chance to celebrate the holidays.

I am surprised that you would take a bunch of kids to a town named after ND abuser Jerry Sandusky. That seems weird

The clippers continue to be the NBA equivalent of the Chargers. They choked away several opportunities with Chris Paul and Blake Griffen. Went out and signed Kawhi and Pail George and became paper champions but for alas neither was available in the playoffs and they got bounced from round one. Injuries, sure. The curse lives. And for sad news for Charger fans it doesn’t matter that they got rid of a horrible owner. The fortunes of the franchise remain

And for sad news for Charger fans it doesn’t matter that they got rid of a horrible owner. The fortunes of the franchise remain Ballmer has money to burn, which I’m guessing he’ll continue to do, without a 2nd Thought. His big mistake was seeing Kawhi for more than just an All-World Talent on the court (when he’s available), and letting him call the shots. * New Balance over Nike * Go get me Paul George (who needs shoulder surgery), even if it costs Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and 5 1st Round Picks * Choosing the Clippers over any other NBA Team in Free Agency * Being seen in public wearing a Padres hat ^ Those are decisions Kawhi has made. Could there be any more concrete proof this guy should not be in the drivers seat ?
