It's a good story until you realize Bill Belichick didn't even make the playoffs last year. But the Patriots have a roster full of players that really want to....... Yeah, we need to open up strong for a change.

Yeah, we need to open up strong for a change. That looks nice but finishing strong is all that matters. Strategy Approved !! Go 0-8, and let the other 9 take care of themselves. Pretty sure in math the first game counts as much as the last.

Doesn't matter how you get there, it is all about what you do when you get there. One and done demands change....Lombardi was the coaching change, now lose some players that were passengers mostly.

This is the mentality that separates the champs from the also rans. The champs separate those type of players out and extract them from the roster. Coaches have to win and if they’re smart they stock the roster with guys who have that same mentality. Belichick for years let good players go when they wanted a big payday. You saw it last off season with JCJ. He could have paid him or tagged him but he didn’t. And the guy who stepped in had a good season. Didn’t miss a beat. He wants team guys who want to win It's a good story until you realize Bill Belichick didn't even make the playoffs last year. They look like over achievers and made the mistake of having a DC become a co OC. I’ll take his approach over the last 20 years.

Jeff Howard is the LAC ILB coach. Former Browns. I would ask him what jersey number he wants if they are riding with Murray.

A CB coach who will coach LBers (though, to be fair, he apparently did coach LBers before).

A CB coach who will coach LBers (though, to be fair, he apparently did coach LBers before). Howard played linebacker for Eastern New Mexico from 2001-2004 and was a 4-time Academic All-Lone Star Conference member. Howard earned 1st Team All-Lone Star Conference honors as a linebacker (LB) in 2003-2004 [2] while capping his career by being named a 2004 AFCA Division II All-American[3] and graduating cum laude with a degree in biology and chemistry. Howard had his jersey retired by Eastern New Mexico in 2006 and entered ENMU Hall of Honor in 2011.[4]

I am still waiting to be impressed.

Don't worry, the room started spinning when I saw Eastern New Mexico. Dude is really smart and he is in tune with what Staley has planed. He turned down an offer with Carolina to come here.
Expect us to gets some speedy, light linebackers and some more Beef on the interior.
Tranquil and K9 may get to stay who knows.
