Joe Hortiz is the new GM. No way we'd have gotten him without Harbaugh. He's One of the best talent evaluators.

I must not be following closely enough......why would he be considered, what coaching position? QB's? When SF went to the Superbowl it was Harbaugh and Kaepernick. So the talk has been about he being a backup QB. But he is 36 now, and hasn't been in the league for 7-8 years. Its silly to me, but a lot in the league is nowadays.

I must not be following closely enough......why would he be considered, what coaching position? QB's? When SF went to the Superbowl it was Harbaugh and Kaepernick. So the talk has been about he being a backup QB. But he is 36 now, and hasn't been in the league for 7-8 years. Its silly to me, but a lot in the league is nowadays. I would be very surprised if Keap joins any team.
We are dominating the offseason right now. Bringing in Kaep would be a loss.

Regardless, Kaep is a 36 yo trouble maker, not an NFL QB.
