When did Sonora take over your postings......his trademark of 'leaving an out' in everything he posts. Probably my biggest complaint about the board....too many on here looking for the 'gotcha' moment, creating the 'never take a stand' postings. I'll take a stand, right after the Chargers are on the clock. Huevos the size of grapefruits over here. I will save you all that stress.....Wilkins falls, TT smiles and takes.....Gus is very happy, again. Wiz not so much.....

What do you think.....on the clock will mean a debate between 2-3 options ? Or will it be like James, an easy choice ? Boy, that's a good question. There are two clues. Sometimes the network will blab if they get info "Supposedly the Chargers are blah blah blah"
or, if they take a long time to get the pick in. Then you know the 27th pick threw them a curveball with their selection, and they want the minutes to get it right.

Unless a Derwin James type falls to 28 one of those three would be great.

Keep in mind, we are in Prime trade down position @28th. Let me explain. Teams like QB's in our spot because they get 5th year options out of them in the first round. Lamar Jackson is a perfect example of this. If a top 5-10 team needs a QB, and didn't get one at the top of the 1st round, they can easily come a calling....................

I might consider a trade down, if the offer is good enough. According to the draft value chart, #28 is worth 660 points. If the Jags, for example, could cough up their high second rounder (#38) worth 520 points, and throw in their 3rd rounder (#69) at 245 points, I would do that deal. You could say they're overpaying, but the chart is an approximation only. If 2-3 of the top tier QB's are gone by the time they pick at #7 overall, they may want to use that pick for another position, then trade up with us later in round 1 for a 2nd tier QB, maybe someone like Finley at NC State. Now, if they were to offer that same #69 with their 4th rounder (#109), I might want them to throw in next year's 3rd rounder to sweeten the pot...

I like those value charts for points of reference. But when it comes to QB's, teams will overpay for them.

Yep...especially if a team has already used their high 1st rounder on a non-QB, but the Bolts are on the clock and there is ONE last decent QB still available, you better believe some GM will overpay to move up and get their man...especially when it's his neck that's on the chopping block to win now this season...or get chopped...

That 5th year option on a QB can be of tremendous value for the acquiring team.
